RULE XV
​
EXAMINATIONS
​
Students are required to take all the prescribed periodical examinations as scheduled during the semester or term. However the students are given one (1) week period to take said examination after determination of justified reason by the guidance office.
​
For students who pay their tuition fees on installment basis, the scheduled of payments to be able to get an official permit for a periodical examination is as follows:
​
PRELIMINARY . 50% of all tuition fees & other fees;
MID-TERM . .. . . 75% of all tuition fees & other fees;
PRE-FINAL. . . . . Full Payment

2. Students who fail to take the Periodical examinations are given one week only to take the special exam by securing a special permit after paying a fine of (P 1,000.00), a policy more remedial than punitive.
​
3. The student who failed to take the examination after one week grace period shall be given an equivalent of 40% for the exam.
4. Student who fails to submit requirements (such as student portfolio, term paper, project, experiment, etc.) will earn on equivalent grade of 40% for that component.

Intervention Practice
​
The following procedures are being established to monitor student’s performance.
a. Designation of class/level advisers for 1st year-3rd year from among the management/admin instructors;
b. The level advisers keep track of the performance of the student;
c. The subject instructors give report of truancy, low performance and even personal predicaments of the students through a deficiency from (OAA form) to the level adviser;
d. The level adviser talks to students or may refer them to the Dean if deemed appropriate recommends counseling refers the student to the Guidance Office;
e. The level adviser may request a conference with the subject instructor regarding the performance of the student;
f. The Guidance Office may call for one-on-one conference with the student(s) or may send out communication for a parental conference;
g. If found necessary, the student is given full intervention measures such as remedial, tutorial or monitoring by both parents and level adviser;
h. The level adviser keeps all records of the student activities and confers with the parents regarding the student’s activities inside the campus;
i. Student should not be given an incomplete grade during midterm period due to lack of requirements, examination, etc… The instructor should compute the student’s grade based on his/her actual performance;
j. In case of incomplete grade in the final grading period the student is required to secure a copy of his/her final grade from the registrar’s office after which he/she shall secure clearance from the cashier’s office and pay the corresponding fees. A completion form shall be issued by the registrar’s office after presentation of the clearance;
k. The completion form shall be presented to the testing center for scheduling the examination. The testing center processes the completion form and for submission to the registrar’s office. The student shall be given his/her copy of the completion form; and
l. The Registrar acknowledges the completion form and reflects the grade in the permanent record of the student.
